Physiatry/Physical Medicine Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiatry/Physical Medicine Specialist to join our team at BAS Healthcare. As a key member of our medical team, you will be responsible for conducting medical disability examinations and evaluations for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct interview-based examinations with some physical assessment, including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing.
  • Evaluate traumatic brain injury and other neurological conditions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address patient needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Meet productivity and quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Board certification in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or PM&R.
  • Experience with medical disability examinations and evaluations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in METs testing and evaluating respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
