Patient Care Responsibilities:
Provide both general and specialized patient care by applying sound nursing practices.
Assess and document patients' pain levels following established protocols.
Prioritize and document patient issues based on assessed needs in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Continuously monitor and document patient conditions, evaluating the effectiveness and timeliness of care interventions.
Revise and update care plans to ensure achievement of desired health outcomes.
Delegate appropriate nursing care tasks to team members as necessary.
Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines to plan and deliver patient care that promotes wellness and supports the discharge process.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited nursing program.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIH) certification completed within the last year is required.
Strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently are essential.
Work Experience:
A minimum of two years of recent acute care experience in telemetry monitoring settings, such as cardiac, step-down, or medical/surgical telemetry units, is required.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Adhere to standard precautions by utilizing personal protective equipment as necessary.
