We are seeking a motivated and resourceful Customer Service Representative to join our team at the Everett Housing Authority. As the first point of contact for visitors, callers, and incoming documents, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and support to our program participants, other service providers, and the public.
Key Responsibilities- Assist program participants, other service providers, and the public through various media, including phone, email, and digital platforms.
- Process and route incoming paper and digital documents, including letters, invoices, and rent checks.
- Provide limited technical assistance to program participants needing help accessing their accounts on EHA's RENTCaf platform.
- Process outgoing mail and assist with special projects as needed.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- General office experience, including computer usage.
- Keyboarding skills equivalent to 35 wpm.
- Skill in dealing with people of all ages, race, ethnic, social, and economic backgrounds.
- Skill in operating computers proficiently.
- Knowledge and skill in using Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience in SharePoint.
- Prior government work experience.
- Prior knowledge of social service work or housing authority work.
- Ability to speak one of the following languages: Russian, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, Arabic, Korean, and/or Spanish.
