Job Summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a primary liaison between clients and our clinic, focusing on alleviating barriers to service and helping patients establish Sea Mar as their medical home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with public health coverage program applications and ensure patients have selected a primary care provider.
  • Conduct outreach and participate in corporate marketing campaigns to promote our services.
  • Maintain activity records and submit progress reports as directed by the Managed Care Department.
  • Identify and advocate on behalf of customers regarding barriers to coverage and utilization of health care services.
Requirements
  • High School graduation; AA or BA in Social Services is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience is required; preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • The applicant must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
