Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Lead Program Facilitator. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic organization that is dedicated to empowering girls to be strong, smart, and bold.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement high-quality educational programs for girls in grades K-12, focusing on hands-on and minds-on activities that promote knowledge, self-confidence, and pro-social skills.
  • Lead instruction and curriculum-based content, adapting to the needs of diverse groups of girls and ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver programs that align with organizational goals and priorities, including academic enrichment, life skills, and healthy living.
  • Build and maintain relationships with girls, families, and community partners, providing individual support and guidance to ensure successful program engagement.
  • Conduct program evaluations and assessments, using data to inform program improvements and ensure effective use of resources.
  • Participate in organization-wide initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support the organization's mission and goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Youth Development, Human Development, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with youth in a program development or facilitation role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality programs and services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of girls, families, and community partners.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and mutual respect.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with the ability to travel to multiple locations throughout the city.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Education, Youth Development, Human Development, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including girls of color and girls from low-income backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of curriculum design and instructional strategies, with a focus on hands-on and minds-on learning.
  • Experience with program evaluation and assessment, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Strong understanding of organizational development and change management, with a focus on empowering girls and families to achieve their goals.
