About the role:
The Facilitator delivers ongoing training and provides one-on-one coaching to help grow and develop employees, ensuring that key performance indicators are met or exceeded. This role provides feedback and shares ideas on curriculum, training policies and departmental procedures designed to continuously enhance employee knowledge of our business, products and service.
What you'll do:
- Facilitate face-to-face or virtual learning topics, including products, systems, new hire onboarding and continuing education.
- Direct and coach employees to bridge the gap from the training room to integration with individual role responsibilities.
- Collaborate with Business Leaders and peers to evaluate and collaborate on learning and communication initiatives to drive performance improvements.
- Use key performance indicators, reports and direct observation to help improve program performance.
- Review various training materials for instructor-led and online training and manage progress on learning assessments.
- Adhere to all compliance policies and procedures and encourage learners to do the same.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline and improve operational efficiencies.
- Participate and assist in developing and implementing learning as a subject matter expert.
- Promote critical thinking and exploration during the learning process while also fostering respect for ideas expressed during facilitation.
- Steer conversations about the learning material and extract varied insights from participants.
- Foster an inclusive and positive environment while managing group conduct to promote active engagement of participants in the learning process.
- Engage and communicate learner updates with leaders on their attendance, behaviors and concerns while learning.
- Maintain all required administrative responsibilities and agent performance tracking during training, including but not limited to, reporting attendance and time management.
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to drive critical, student-led dialogues about learning material
- 1-year experience facilitating a work group effectively to increase and involve all participants or relevant Insurance industry and inbound sales center experience
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to facilitate learners
- Attention to detail with a critical eye for nuance and editorial principles
- Continuous learner with a passion for coaching and developing people
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with measuring and analyzing training effectiveness
- 1 year experience supervising and coaching using conflict management
- Experience creating and exhibiting including and collaborative learning environments
- Demonstrated understanding of modern training principles, including adult learning, various modalities of learning principles and modern training techniques
