Position Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for delivering nursing care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse or healthcare provider. This role encompasses care for patients across all stages of life, employing the nursing process in alignment with the mission and vision of Piedmont Healthcare. Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:

Completion of an accredited LPN program is required.


Experience Requirements:

New graduates from accredited nursing programs are encouraged to apply.


Licensure/Certification:

Must possess a current LPN license in the State of Georgia or a NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification is mandatory.


Preferred Qualifications:

Clinical experience in the relevant specialty area is preferred. Candidates with experience in a hospital setting are highly regarded. For those working in the Emergency Department, certifications in ALS/ACLS and PALS are required. LPNs new to the specialty must complete necessary certifications within six months of employment, while experienced Emergency Department nurses will have six months to obtain PALS certification.
