Job Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider at Piedmont Medical Care Corporation. This role is responsible for delivering compassionate and technologically appropriate care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with the organization's Mission and Vision Statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to Piedmont Medical Care Corporation's policies and procedures.
- Guides and collaborates with ancillary staff to ensure quality patient care.
- Works collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Participates in professional growth and development, staying up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
- New graduates of an accredited nursing school are eligible.
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a LPN or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
- BLS certification required.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
