Salary Range: $190,000 to $220,000 annually
Relocation Support: Up to $8,000

Position Summary:
Nexus HR Services is seeking a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner to join a well-respected healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of experience in nurse practice, with a strong preference for those with a background in primary care.
Role Responsibilities:
- Enhance patient health by delivering medical services under physician supervision.
- Support the physician's effectiveness by identifying and addressing both immediate and long-term patient care needs; providing relevant insights and recommendations; and executing physician directives.
- Evaluate patient health through comprehensive interviews, physical assessments, and thorough medical history reviews.
- Identify abnormal conditions by conducting or ordering diagnostic tests, such as x-rays and laboratory studies, and interpreting the results.
- Document patient care activities accurately in patient and departmental records.
- Administer therapeutic procedures, including injections and immunizations, and manage wounds and infections.
- Educate and counsel patients on treatment plans, growth and development, family planning, and emotional well-being.
- Ensure continuity of care by developing and implementing effective patient management strategies.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment by adhering to established procedures and regulations.
- Safeguard patients and staff by following infection control protocols.
- Comply with all legal and professional standards by staying informed on current legislation and enforcing adherence to regulations.
- Enhance professional knowledge through ongoing education, networking, and participation in professional organizations.
- Contribute to the development of healthcare team members by providing educational resources and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Preferred experience in primary care settings.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in California.
- Active DEA license without restrictions.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Familiarity with EMR and EHR systems is preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Must be able to work onsite.
- Valid work authorization is required.
