Job Summary

This role advises the research, creative, application, and commercial departments or customers on regulatory compliance, strategy, and advocacy for ingredients and products. The Associate Manager of Regulatory Affairs will execute regulatory compliance reviews, prepare documents, and submit registration/approval dossiers. In a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape, this role will work with a team of dedicated professionals and collaborate with perfumers, scent design managers, account teams, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute regulatory strategies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external associations to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
  • Provide customer support for ingredient/product safety and regulatory issues, including product compliance reviews and documentation.
  • Manage regulatory needs, including customer requests, regulatory changes, and requirements.
  • Defend and convince customers of the validity of regulatory reviews and documentation.
  • Coordinate review methodologies and establish best practice procedures.
  • Participate in trade associations and lead specific initiatives related to regulatory expertise.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of experience in regulatory compliance or a related field.
  • Strong solution-oriented mindset, innovative thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and influencing skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills, decision-making skills, strategic thinking, and collaboration.
