Position Overview: This role is responsible for receiving business inquiries from management, gathering product and enhancement requirements from end users, and transforming these requests into actionable solutions for the technology team.

Key Responsibilities: Collaborates across various departments to plan, coordinate, and execute projects effectively. Provides leadership and comprehensive support to project teams to ensure the delivery of exceptional results, adhering to timelines and budget constraints, while exceeding member expectations.

Major Duties:

  • Acts as the primary liaison for the organization regarding assigned projects.
  • Ensures that team members are aware of their roles and deliverables.
  • Oversees projects throughout their lifecycle, maintaining essential project deliverables, plans, communication strategies, and status reports for new products, promotions, and enhancements.
  • Utilizes Blaze's project methodology and reporting tools to ensure efficient execution, collaboration, and communication of project statuses.
  • Monitors and reports on project performance and status to leadership.
  • Prepares project plans and secures agreement from key stakeholders.
  • Leads projects and cross-functional teams of internal staff, vendors, and technology partners to develop optimal solutions and launch new products or services.
  • Gathers business requirements through analysis of current systems and discussions with stakeholders.
  • Conducts high-level impact assessments, gap analyses, and detailed design documentation.
  • Develops and presents design alternatives to stakeholders to facilitate decision-making and achieve consensus.
  • Assists in formulating functional testing requirements for new or existing system features.
  • Conducts system walkthroughs and formal reviews of new implementations.
  • Facilitates the resolution of business and technical issues through collaboration with various project stakeholders.
  • Assists in estimating and scheduling project tasks.
  • Provides support in troubleshooting and resolving issues while exploring opportunities for enhancements and improvements.
  • Coordinates internal resources and third-party vendors to deliver effective solutions.

Additional Responsibilities: Adheres to applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Maintains regular and predictable attendance and performs other duties as assigned to support effective departmental operations.

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • A college degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Waterfall or Agile methodologies.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project planning methods and techniques.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels, with conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple demands.
  • Proficiency in various software programs.
  • In-depth understanding of Blaze products and systems.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Windows server and desktop operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, VPN technologies, and network management software.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio and Visual Basic/Visual Studio.

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit and stand, answer calls, operate a computer, interact with internal staff and the public, travel as needed, and lift up to 20 lbs.
