Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main liaison for the organization regarding assigned projects.
- Ensure that team members are aware of their roles and deliverables.
- Oversee projects throughout their lifecycle, maintaining essential project deliverables, plans, communication strategies, and status reports for new initiatives and enhancements.
- Utilize Spire's project management methodology to guarantee efficient execution, collaboration, and communication regarding all assigned projects.
- Monitor and report on project performance and status to leadership.
- Prepare project plans and secure agreement from key stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional project teams, including internal staff, vendors, and technology partners, to develop optimal solutions and launch new products or services.
- Gather business requirements through system analysis and discussions with stakeholders.
- Conduct high-level impact assessments, gap analyses, and detailed design documentation.
- Present design alternatives to stakeholders to facilitate decision-making and achieve consensus.
- Assist in defining functional testing requirements for new or existing system features.
- Conduct system walkthroughs and formal reviews of new implementations.
- Drive the resolution of business and technical challenges through collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Support project estimation and scheduling efforts.
- Provide assistance in troubleshooting and resolving issues while exploring opportunities for enhancements.
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to deliver effective solutions.
Other Duties: Adhere to applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act and the Patriot Act. Maintain regular and predictable attendance and perform other duties as assigned to support departmental operations.
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- A college degree in a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with Waterfall or Agile methodologies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project planning methods and techniques.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
- Proficient problem-solving and project management abilities.
- Capability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- In-depth understanding of Spire products and systems.
- Intermediate knowledge of relevant technologies, including Microsoft Office Suite and network management software.
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit and stand, answer calls, operate a computer, interact with internal staff and the public, travel as needed, and lift up to 20 lbs.
