  • Property Safety: Ensure the property's safety and security, implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures.
  • Event Planning: Organize community events, enhancing the tenant experience and promoting a positive community atmosphere.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure the property and operations comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on property performance, including occupancy rates, maintenance issues, and financial performance.
  • Sustainability: Implement sustainable practices, reducing the property's environmental impact and lowering operating costs.
  • Vendor Management: Develop and manage relationships with vendors, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Software Management: Utilize Yardi and other property management software, staying up-to-date on new technology and software.
  • Miscellaneous Tasks: Perform special projects and assignments as requested by management.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience as a Community Manager in a residential or hospitality industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a college degree preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with a thorough understanding of Fair Housing laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Office Suite and software programs used for leasing and marketing activities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment
  • Constant movement around the property, visiting different work locations.
  • Essential functions include walking, inspecting units, and meeting with applicants.
  • Equipment used includes computers, phones, tablets, filing cabinets, and general office equipment.
