About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Travel Product to join our team at AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving sustained Travel revenue growth and Member engagement of all Travel products through maximizing strategic Travel product and marketing partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Craft and execute product and marketing strategies that maximize Travel growth and achieve revenue goals.
  • Secure co-op funding and resources from strategic partners to deliver new marketing plans and support upskilling the Travel Advisors.
  • Provide strategic partnership and collaboration with key business partners in planning, sales/marketing integration, channel distribution, and program development to drive performance against revenue and Member experience targets.
  • Collaborate with Travel, Insurance, Membership, and Brand marketing leaders to align marketing efforts, build integrated plans, and deliver strong results.
  • Effectively manage multiple external vendor relationships and work effectively with creative teams to produce high-quality and successful campaigns.
  • Lead annual and long-term planning for Travel product.
  • Participate as MWG's liaison for contract negotiation, on-going relationships, and communication with AAA Preferred Travel Suppliers to ensure AAA clubs and members are offered maximum benefit from the Preferred Supplier program.
  • Monitor the established service level requirements of Preferred Travel Suppliers to ensure achievement of defined service levels essential for MWG and Member satisfaction. Develop improvement plans as necessary and monitor progress.
Requirements
  • Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field plus 6 years or High School diploma plus 10 years of travel industry experience, with an extensive knowledge of the AAA infrastructure and current trends in the wholesale, retail, and online travel industry.
    • 2 years of Management Experience
    • Valid Driver's License
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Master of Business Administration
