Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Orion Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support recruiters with the recruitment process. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to interact extensively with personnel at all levels within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact candidates within 48 hours of receiving schedule requests and process all schedule requests within 3 days of receipt.
  • Arrange candidate domestic and international travel, accommodations, and other logistics.
  • Process expense reimbursements through the debit card process prior to interviews.
  • Send interview evaluation forms to the interview team 48 hours prior to interviews.
  • Ensure schedule accuracy and send interview schedules to the interview team and candidate 5 days prior to interviews.
  • Provide continuous updates to recruiters regarding interview schedule status.
  • Engage recruiters when obstacles occur in the scheduling process.
  • Ensure interview schedules and receipts are accurately captured to ensure compliance with federal mandates.
  • Update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate statuses and upload interview schedules.
  • Regularly interact with hiring managers and administrative assistants for all levels of the organization.
  • Process pre-employment screens through completion, including background and drug screens.
  • Provide high-touch customer service to candidates, hiring managers, and administrative staff.
  • Share current scheduling volume each week and assist colleagues when necessary to ensure work is evenly distributed among the coordinator group.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with a degree in Human Resources being a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in staffing coordination or in a HR environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to interact extensively with personnel at all levels within the company.
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills, written and oral, with excellent customer service skills.
  • Effectively handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
  • Proficiency in databases and the ability to use MS Office products.
