Cultural Resources Specialist

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Cultural Resources NEPA Specialist to join our Environmental Planning Group in the Western Region. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in supporting National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance, state-level equivalent reviews, and environmental permitting.
Key Responsibilities- Write technical resource reports and analysis related to cultural and tribal resources
- Interface with clients and other technical experts to ensure effective project delivery
- Support public outreach efforts and contribute to a positive teamwork-oriented company culture
- Develop client relationships, marketing and business development, and lead interdisciplinary teams on diverse projects
- Bachelor's degree in archaeology, anthropology, historic preservation, environmental science, policy, planning, or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Knowledge of federal environmental laws and their implementing regulations, including NEPA, Antiquities Act, National Historic Preservation Act, and Executive Orders related to Tribal consultation and traditional knowledge
