The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing benefits programs, particularly in areas such as 401(k) plans, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) compliance, HRIS, payroll systems, and conducting system audits. This position plays a critical role in the overall management of employee benefits.
Key Duties:
- 401(k) Plan Oversight: Manage the company's 401(k) plan, ensuring proper enrollment, compliance with regulations, and effective communication with employees regarding updates.
- FMLA Management: Handle FMLA requests, ensuring all processes comply with federal laws while providing support to employees navigating leave policies.
- HRIS Data Management: Leverage HRIS systems to maintain accurate benefits data, generate necessary reports, and conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity.
- Payroll Integration: Work closely with the payroll department to ensure accurate integration of benefits data, addressing any discrepancies that arise.
- Audit Processes: Regularly audit benefits systems and procedures to ensure compliance and identify areas for enhancement.
- Communication of Benefits: Create and distribute clear communication materials regarding benefits programs, changes, and enrollment processes, assisting employees with inquiries.
