Qualifications:

- An unencumbered LPN license in Idaho (or a compact state license, or proof of pending licensure in Idaho by endorsement).
- Experience in geriatric care is preferred.

Position Overview:

  • Full-time dayshift with flexible hours.
  • No mandatory weekends or major holiday shifts.
  • Our facility is a nonprofit, faith-based community offering both assisted living and memory care services, accommodating up to 69 residents across two levels. The upper level is designated for Assisted Living, while the lower level provides secure Memory Care.
  • We emphasize a collaborative approach to resident care, involving three nurses and the broader care team to prevent any lapses in service.
  • Responsibilities include rotating on-call supervisory duties among nursing staff.

Compensation:

Hourly wage ranges from $32 to $37.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Effectively applies the nursing process within the defined scope of practice.
  • Ensures compliance with regulations set forth by the Idaho State Board of Nursing and Residential Assisted Living Facilities.
  • Communicates effectively and contributes as a vital member of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Assists in the training and ongoing education of caregiving and medication technician staff.
  • Engages in staffing management and departmental needs assessment.
  • Participates in pre-admission evaluations alongside the Director of Nursing and Admissions.
  • Manages resident care needs and responds proactively to health status changes.
  • Develops and monitors behavior management plans, including psychotropic medication usage.
  • Facilitates communication with providers, pharmacies, physical therapy, and other team members as necessary.
  • Contributes to assessments conducted quarterly, annually, and during changes in resident conditions.
  • Oversees all physician orders for the memory care unit.
  • Provides support to the assisted living floor as required.
  • Capable of exerting 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

Compensation Details: $32-$37 per hour.
