Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to take on the vital role of providing comprehensive patient care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN). The LPN will adhere to established nursing protocols and is responsible for the effective management of patient care while supporting the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employ the nursing process to evaluate, plan, implement, and assess patient care.
- Conduct targeted interviews to ascertain specific patient requirements.
- Identify and monitor signs and symptoms indicative of physiological and psychosocial changes in patients.
- Gather, analyze, and document data from healthcare professionals to establish nursing diagnoses.
- Perform additional duties as assigned relevant to the role of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Qualifications:
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License in the practicing state.
- Current Health Certificate as required by the facility.
- Up-to-date PPD or Chest X-Ray documentation.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred: One year of prior experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Essential Skills:
- G-tube management
- Tracheostomy care
- Ventilator support
- Experience with adult patients
Work Schedule:
- Options for Full-time, Part-time, or PRN positions.
- Availability on specified days of the week.
