Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to take on the vital role of providing comprehensive patient care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN). The LPN will adhere to established nursing protocols and is responsible for the effective management of patient care while supporting the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employ the nursing process to evaluate, plan, implement, and assess patient care.
  • Conduct targeted interviews to ascertain specific patient requirements.
  • Identify and monitor signs and symptoms indicative of physiological and psychosocial changes in patients.
  • Gather, analyze, and document data from healthcare professionals to establish nursing diagnoses.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned relevant to the role of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Qualifications:

  • Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License in the practicing state.
  • Current Health Certificate as required by the facility.
  • Up-to-date PPD or Chest X-Ray documentation.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Preferred: One year of prior experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Essential Skills:

  • G-tube management
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Ventilator support
  • Experience with adult patients

Work Schedule:

  • Options for Full-time, Part-time, or PRN positions.
  • Availability on specified days of the week.
