POSITION SUMMARY

In this pivotal role within our creative team, you will lead all marketing endeavors. This encompasses conducting thorough market analysis, developing engaging content, and implementing strategies aimed at enhancing brand recognition and fostering member loyalty. Your contributions will be crucial in elevating our brand's presence and establishing us as the top choice for salon professionals.

SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Market Analysis: Perform extensive market research, including competitive analysis through observational studies, online inquiries, and data evaluation to identify industry trends and opportunities.
  • Digital Marketing & SEO: Design and execute digital marketing initiatives, encompassing social media, email outreach, and online promotions. Assess and refine campaign performance to maximize effectiveness. Formulate and implement SEO strategies to enhance online presence.
  • Content Development: Create engaging, trend-driven content for platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. Maintain a consistent posting schedule, utilizing design tools like Canva and Photoshop to produce visually appealing marketing assets that embody our commitment to accessible luxury.
  • Brand Stewardship: Ensure uniformity in brand messaging and visual representation across all marketing channels. Strengthen the brand's image and reputation.
  • Community Engagement: Actively connect with beauty professionals and our community. Respond to inquiries, engage with posts, and maintain a vibrant social media presence to nurture a sense of belonging.
  • Innovative Marketing: Implement creative marketing strategies, particularly for new initiatives, to generate excitement and attract our target audience.
  • Reporting & Strategy: Compile and present comprehensive data reports and strategic insights to the leadership team. Leverage findings to enhance marketing efforts and promote ongoing improvement.

BUSINESS/PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:

  • TECHNICAL SKILLS: Proficient in digital marketing tools, content design (Canva, Photoshop, InDesign), and social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok).
  • COMMUNICATION: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. Effectively conveys information clearly and concisely, actively listens, and engages in proactive communication.
  • ATTENTION TO DETAIL: Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • ADAPTABILITY: Proactive and inventive in problem-solving. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to engage with the audience and produce relevant reports.
  • SELF-SUFFICIENCY: Must be resourceful, capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Ability to adhere to strict posting and reporting timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Position Location: Based out of Houston office, with travel to various locations as business needs arise.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in a marketing capacity with proven expertise in content creation, SEO, and campaign management.
  • Physical Conditions: Must possess a valid driver's license. Ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone. Regularly requires repetitive motion of wrists, finger dexterity, and visual acuity for computer work.
