Position Overview:
The Brand Marketing Coordinator role is a pivotal market engagement position. This is not a conventional retail sales position; the ideal candidate will effectively operate in On Premise (30% of the time) and Off Premise (70% of the time).

You will have the opportunity to inform key decision-makers and end consumers about the represented brands' heritage, characteristics, advantages, and competitive edge at various retail locations.

By utilizing this knowledge, the Brand Marketing Coordinator will strive to position the clients' products optimally within the venue and address any existing distribution gaps.

Simultaneously, you will be on the lookout for relevant sponsorship opportunities and promotional features or additional shelf/display space.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate a strong sense of ownership for the business and possess a self-motivated attitude.

You should be prepared to act as a Brand Ambassador regularly, sampling key products at both On Premise and Off Premise venues.

The candidate must excel at creating mutually beneficial solutions that serve both the client's portfolio and the customer.


Marketing & Promotion Responsibilities:
  • Monitor monthly key performance indicators (KPIs) for sampling and demonstrations.

Sales KPIs for both on and off premise will include minimum sampling and demonstration requirements each month. Progress on KPIs will be reviewed with the Sales Director weekly.

  • Lead and facilitate market activations and sampling events, serving as the primary contact for the Sampling agency, while also managing project documentation and overseeing agreed-upon on-site sampling expenditures.
  • Maintain all project documentation (sampling reports, inventory, etc.).
  • Oversee sampling expenditures during on-site activations.
  • Coordinate project timelines with guidance from the Sales Director.
  • Manage in-market assets and identify additional asset opportunities (POS, displays, merchandise, etc.) in collaboration with the Sales Director.
  • Conduct and maintain surveys for accounts to track customer interactions, orders, and movements.
Sales Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to monthly KPIs for sales objectives.

Sales KPIs for on and off premise will encompass sales targets, new accounts, POS/display deployment, and maintaining customer relationships. These KPIs will be reviewed with the Sales Director weekly.

  • Develop and sustain relationships with key accounts from the designated target account list.
  • Secure distribution, promotional features, and displays at key accounts.
  • Identify key opportunities for new distribution, sales, features, displays, sampling, and events.
  • Conduct and maintain surveys for accounts to monitor market activity, orders, and movements.
  • Keep track of competitors by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new launches, and competitor promotions and events.
  • Recommend adjustments and enhancements based on ongoing observations of products, services, and procedures in the market.
  • Maintain all market performance documentation (hours, mileage, etc.).
Administrative Duties:
  • Manage inventory in the market and request new merchandise/re-orders from the Sales Director and Marketing VP.
  • Submit hours, mileage, expenses, and receipts on a weekly basis.
Compliance Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to selling, offering, and sampling spirits.
  • Provide proof of a valid license.
