Position Overview

As a Senior Analyst of Internal Controls for Projects, your primary responsibility will be to ensure adherence to internal financial regulations, policies, and compliance standards throughout project execution.

This role is integral to maintaining the integrity of our financial processes and will involve collaboration with various teams to identify and mitigate financial reporting risks associated with project activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert in internal controls within key company initiatives related to ICFR.
  • Work closely with control owners and project teams to pinpoint and address financial reporting risks stemming from project operations.
  • Develop and document internal controls for business and ITGC to effectively manage project-related financial risks.
  • Convey control requirements to project teams and ensure compliance through user acceptance testing.
  • Support the maintenance of a robust internal control environment by assessing and implementing necessary mitigating controls.
  • Ensure effective segregation of duties within existing and newly modified financial systems.
  • Collaborate with auditors to facilitate assessment activities related to implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CIA certification is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in internal controls, compliance, or auditing, preferably within multinational retail organizations.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an advisory capacity.
  • Strong skills in planning, project management, communication, and analysis; familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain a positive outlook, adapt to change, and excel in a dynamic work environment.
  • Experience with information technology general computer controls is preferred.
  • A passion for process documentation and a project management approach.
