Job Summary

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at Alliance Workforce. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspecting Incoming Ingredients and Packaging: Verify compliance with established standards and procedures.
  • Auditing Blending and Production Processes: Monitor and evaluate production stages to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Maintaining QA Records and Housekeeping: Ensure accurate and up-to-date records, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Performing Microbiological Plating and Monitoring Water Quality: Conduct regular testing to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Ensuring Production Compliance: Verify adherence to HACCP, GMP's, SQF, and SOP's.
  • Calibrating and Verifying Lab and Operational Equipment: Ensure accuracy and precision in testing and measurement.
  • Reporting Out-of-Spec Situations: Communicate any quality issues to the QA Manager in a timely manner.
  • Preparing and Shipping Co-Pack Samples: Ensure timely and accurate preparation and shipment of samples.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma required; Associate degree in food science, chemistry, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 1 year in Food or Beverage Manufacturing Quality Assurance preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Access, and Email; basic chemistry, food science, and microbiology knowledge.
  • Language: Must speak English; bilingual candidates are a plus.
