Position Summary
We are on the lookout for a meticulous Quality Control Supervisor to manage all quality assurance processes within our production facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products conform to our established specifications and comply with our Food Safety Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and nurture the Food Safety and Quality (FSQ) team
- Implement training initiatives to boost employee expertise in FSQ
- Support the achievement of quality assurance goals
- Monitor performance metrics and spearhead improvement projects
- Utilize Quality Engineering techniques to refine processes
- Oversee testing and release procedures for finished goods
- Ensure adherence to FDA regulations
- Manage the availability of essential supplies and resources
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Juice HACCP and 21 CFR Part 120
- Understanding of Sanitation and Pathogen Monitoring practices
- PCQI certification is preferred
- Familiarity with GFSI certification processes
Educational Background and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in a science-related discipline is required, along with a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in FSQ. Candidates with extensive experience in food or beverage production may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
