Role Summary
We are in search of a meticulous Quality Control Supervisor to manage all quality assurance activities within our production facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products align with established specifications and comply with our Food Safety Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the Food Safety and Quality (FSQ) team
- Implement training initiatives to elevate staff expertise in FSQ
- Support the achievement of quality assurance goals
- Monitor performance indicators and spearhead improvement projects
- Utilize Quality Engineering techniques to optimize processes
- Oversee testing and approval procedures for finished goods
- Ensure adherence to FDA standards
- Manage the availability of essential supplies and resources
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Juice HACCP and 21 CFR Part 120
- Familiarity with Sanitation and Pathogen Monitoring practices
- Certification as a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI)
- Experience with Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) certification
Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree in a science-related discipline, complemented by a minimum of three years of supervisory experience in FSQ. Consideration will be given to candidates with extensive experience in food or beverage manufacturing who may not possess a Bachelor's degree.
