Job Summary

Country Pure Foods is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily activities of our beverage manufacturing plant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of various departments, including production, maintenance, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement production schedules and priorities to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Oversee the implementation of quality control measures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure equipment is functioning properly and minimize downtime.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor department managers and hourly employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Identify and resolve production and quality control issues in a timely manner, making sound and accurate judgments to ensure the smooth operation of the plant.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Food Science, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing supervisory role, with a proven track record of success in production planning, quality control, and team management.
  • Skills: Proficient in Accounting software, Database software, Internet software, Order processing systems, Spreadsheet software (MS Excel), Word Processing software (MS Word), and Email software (Microsoft365).
