An exciting outside sales role is available in Texas, aimed at cultivating new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships. IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Demonstrates a strong dedication to delivering exceptional customer service within a collaborative team setting.
  • Exhibits outstanding communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Possesses a genuine enthusiasm for sales.
  • Focuses on building relationships and delivering value.
  • Has a passion for selling heavy machinery and equipment, including construction or agricultural machinery such as bulldozers, cranes, or tractors, as well as military-grade equipment like MRAP vehicles or tanks. Experience in Aircraft and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) sales is also advantageous.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A four-year Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of successful experience in outside sales is preferred. Familiarity with equipment sales is a significant advantage.
  • Willingness to travel extensively overnight is essential.
  • Must be able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Strong communication and information processing skills are required.
  • Proficiency in PC applications, including spreadsheets and word processing, is necessary.

The job level may be adjusted at the time of hire if the candidate meets the qualifications for a more advanced position within the career path.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluate potential applications of company products and/or services and propose solutions that align with customer needs.
  • Conduct research and prepare reports that demonstrate the cost benefits of purchasing Altec products or services to prospective clients.
  • Provide technical training to clients and relay customer feedback for future product enhancements.
  • Utilize technical expertise regarding product offerings to support and drive sales.
