  • Continuously enhance your understanding of Dana Safety Supply products and develop effective sales strategies to introduce new offerings.
  • Conduct regular sales visits to established clients within your territory.
  • Identify potential leads proactively, oversee prospects, and secure new accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with management to ensure the execution of the territory growth strategy.
  • Establish yourself as the primary contact for end-users.
  • Work alongside management to set, track, and achieve sales objectives.
  • Stay informed about market dynamics and competitive landscape, adapting strategies as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Verify orders for accuracy in pricing and content.
  • Complete necessary documentation and reports promptly in line with company policies.
  • Familiarize yourself with and utilize our internal systems effectively.
  • Participate in training sessions and sales meetings.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of trade show displays.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in outside sales, preferably within the industry.
  • Demonstrated exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Participation in trade shows and related sales events.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, dedicating approximately 75% of your time to client visits.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in multitasking.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of product offerings.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.

Work Schedule:

A minimum commitment of 40 hours per week is expected, with flexibility to meet sales targets. Travel may include evenings and weekends.
