KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and coordinate the tasks of kitchen staff to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Review daily usage reports with the Executive Chef or Sous Chef to ensure accurate estimates are adhered to by the team.
- Gather all necessary ingredients for daily meal preparation from storage and effectively utilize leftovers.
- Provide clear verbal and written instructions to team members.
- Participate in all staff meetings, contribute constructive ideas for resolving team issues, and foster effective communication across all kitchen departments.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas. Complete the daily sanitation checklist and enforce the 'clean as you go' standard.
- Examine all workstations, including the staff dining area, to guarantee proper setup for all meal services.
- Create daily production documentation.
The contractor will not terminate or discriminate against employees or applicants for inquiring about, discussing, or disclosing their own pay or that of another employee or applicant.
