About the Role

Senspex, a leading provider of advanced imaging technologies, is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Associate to join our team. As a key member of our Business Development Department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive product line penetration and achieve long-term profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to improve product line penetration and achieve long-term profitability
  • Assume the communication lead in discussions with customers and develop relationships with key supplier contacts
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute strategies to capture new business and respond promptly to customer needs
  • Provide recommendations and advice to Top Management on overall sales strategy, support programs, and other marketing and sales activities related to new business opportunities
  • Participate in appropriate events and trade shows to enhance market presence and conduct presentations and demonstrations of products and services to potential customers
  • Solicit orders from current and prospective customers, both in-person and through cold calling, and follow up on and process sales leads based on information gathered from trade shows, marketing campaigns, telephone inquiries, and other prospects
  • Provide customers with the appropriate level of technical, business, and service support to ensure the continuation and expansion of the company and the complete satisfaction of customers with our products and services
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of sales experience in a technical field with demonstrated sales growth
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree with significant coursework in a technical field such as engineering, science, or physics
  • Strong sales skills that promote product and services the company offers and the ability to showcase technical products, both software and hardware
  • Must be knowledgeable about technology, and in particular, the ability to obtain expert-level knowledge on Senspex products
  • Ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms to users
Preferred Qualifications
  • Military and Government sales experience
  • Military program or procurement experience
  • Experience with video and vision systems technologies
