POSITION OVERVIEW

Engages, develops, and manages a broad spectrum of professional banking clients, with a particular focus on high net worth individuals and their associated enterprises. Offers comprehensive banking solutions including loans, deposits, and cash management services. Responsibilities encompass extending credit (primarily consumer with some commercial), delivering deposit-related services, providing financial counsel, and ensuring clients are informed about available services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: additional duties may be assigned.

  • Directly oversee a designated group of clients, optimizing customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain and manage existing accounts in alignment with departmental goals for profitability and credit quality.
  • Analyze client assets and collaborate closely with our Wealth Management Group to deliver tailored investment advice.
  • Participate in community engagement initiatives.
  • Establish and negotiate terms with borrowers.
  • Approve or decline loan applications.
  • Prepare and present loan proposals exceeding lending limits to senior management or loan committees.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and stay informed about changes in federal laws and lending standards.
  • Monitor loan repayments and initiate appropriate collection actions.
  • Actively engage in business development initiatives.
  • Generate and follow up on new business leads.
  • Promote additional bank products.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

A Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from an accredited four-year institution; or one to two years of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience. Proficiency in Windows XP, MS Word, and MS Excel is required. Lending experience is preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety guidelines, operating instructions, and procedural manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively before groups of clients or employees.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to perform calculations and conduct spreadsheet analyses.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to execute instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form. Ability to address problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.
