Senior Planning Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Planning Manager to join our engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the planning and execution of complex engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans for multimodal transportation systems, including road, rail, air, and water transport.
- Collaborate with urban planners, architects, and other stakeholders to design and implement sustainable urban development plans.
- Oversee the preparation of architectural designs, blueprints, and models, ensuring they meet client requirements and adhere to relevant regulations and standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and impact analyses for proposed projects.
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Stay abreast of latest trends and advancements in the engineering industry, and incorporate these into planning and design processes.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related field. A Master's degree will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a planning role in the engineering industry, with a focus on multimodal transportation planning, urban planning, and architecture design.
- Proven experience in leading and managing complex engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to a variety of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant software, such as CAD, GIS, and project management tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Professional certifications in project management, urban planning, or a related field will be an advantage.
