Job Title: Senior Communications Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Manager to join our team at Forest Trends. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy that showcases our organization's work and mission.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement a communications strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and objectives
* Create and edit engaging content for various channels, including social media, email, and our website
* Collaborate with program staff to develop targeted outreach strategies for our programmatic work
* Manage and track media outreach and coverage
* Oversee all communications systems and infrastructure, including tools and resources for internal knowledge management, content marketing, contacts management, and more

Requirements:

* 5-7 years of experience working in communications or a related field
* Undergraduate or graduate degree in communications, sustainability, biology, earth science, liberal arts, business, or other related topics
* Strong budget management experience and excellent writing, organizational, and communications skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and other design software
