Job Summary

Denver Health is seeking a highly motivated Enrollment Specialist II to determine medical assistance eligibility for patients/clients in various settings. This role involves collaborating with internal and external partners, completing accurate data entry, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interview patients/clients to determine living and financial situation, calculates applicable income and assets, and determines eligibility for appropriate medical assistance programs.
  • Clearly explains the various medical assistance programs to patients/clients and assists them in completing the necessary forms to apply for such programs.
  • Identifies, researches, and resolves complex problems related to eligibility determinations for various medical assistance programs.
  • Effectively and accurately follows established work procedures and guidelines to be efficient in the Medicaid case maintenance and redetermination processes.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • 1-3 years Related experience Required
