Key Responsibilities

Position Summary:
Under supervision, this role provides assistance in the planning, preparation, and analysis of the company's annual budget and forecasts. This position is dynamic and operates in a fast-paced environment, offering visibility across all organizational levels.

Main Duties:
- Support all facets of the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Develop and coordinate detailed checklists to meet deadlines across all business units.
- Assist in preparing the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, including data input, tracking submissions, generating reports, and making recommendations based on analysis.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data within the Hyperion database.
- Assist in the administration of Hyperion Planning Security and design architecture.
- Lead overhead cost analysis and prepare monthly variance reports by collaborating with all departments.
- Develop, prepare, and analyze financial reports based on actual, forecast, and budget data.
- Investigate variances using software platforms to understand specific accounts and variances, making recommendations as necessary.
- Compare monthly financial performance against budget and/or forecast, investigating variances and communicating findings to management.
- Assist facilities in budget preparation as required, providing budget data and justification information.
- Document processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare weekly reporting dashboards and ad hoc reports as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; CPA, CFA, or master's degree in business preferred.
- One to three (1-3) years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) roles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in FP&A-related ERP platforms (Hyperion planning/essbase preferred).
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral) to engage with all organizational levels.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, manage, and execute work assignments within expected performance parameters and timelines, making independent decisions.
- Capability to follow complex written and oral instructions related to budget administration, analysis, and report compilation.
