We are seeking a highly skilled Early Childhood Special Educator to join our team at Community Partnership for Child Development. As a Special Education Intervention Specialist, you will provide early childhood special education intervention services to children with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities- Provide early childhood special education intervention services to children with IEPs, including consultation with classroom teachers on special education adaptations and strategies.
- Consult with classroom teachers to ensure successful integration of children with special needs.
- Provide training to staff and attend IEP meetings as a representative of Community Partnership for Child Development.
- Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education/Special Education with Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Licensure with endorsement in ECSE or be enrolled in a Master's program and have a TTE (Temporary Teaching Eligibility).
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of special education, inclusive early childhood development special education programs.
- Possesses the ability to work with diverse families, community groups, and staff.
- Possesses the ability to coordinate and handle multiple priorities.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment physical examination, TB test, drug test (including marijuana), and background check in accordance with the Office of Head Start Performance Standards and Childcare Licensing.
