Position Summary:
An exceptional opportunity awaits a seasoned Automotive Retail Manager to lead our dynamic team at Delta World Tire Company.
Compensation:
$50,000 - $80,000 annually
The Automotive Retail Manager is accountable for the comprehensive performance of the store, focusing on both financial and operational aspects. This role involves establishing and upholding superior customer service standards, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring optimal sales and profitability through effective expense management, human resource oversight, and control of operational costs and inventory shrinkage.
Our ASE certified technicians are equipped to assist with a variety of services, including alignments, brake repairs, oil changes, battery replacements, shock and strut installations, belt and hose replacements, and air conditioning services.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Management
Establishes clear expectations and maintains open communication with team members regarding job roles, objectives, training, and customer service excellence. Holds team members accountable for their responsibilities and fosters their development through coaching and constructive feedback.
Ensures adherence to all company policies and procedures by conducting regular team meetings and store evaluations.
Collaborates with Human Resources to recruit, interview, and onboard new team members as needed.
Conducts regular performance assessments for all staff members.
Financial Oversight
Evaluates and interprets business trends; formulates and executes strategies to enhance sales and achieve or surpass sales and profit objectives as outlined in the Store Margin Statement.
Reviews invoices and daily reports to identify growth opportunities.
Maintains stringent controls over the company's physical and financial resources. Adheres to standard closing procedures, including the timely deposit of checks and cash.
Facility Management
Ensures the store's cleanliness and organization – both front and back – at all times.
Maintains exemplary housekeeping and merchandising standards to guarantee customer comfort. Conducts regular equipment inspections and requests maintenance as necessary.
Ensures timely return of unused parts to vendors and that credits are processed and forwarded to Accounting.
Qualifications:
Minimum of two years of management experience or equivalent business experience in the automotive sector.
Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring team members to achieve success through effective communication.
Proven ability to develop and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual performance targets with clearly defined objectives for the store.
Track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales and profit benchmarks.
Prior experience as an Automotive Technician or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
Must possess a valid driver's license or obtain one within 30 days of employment.
Availability to work a minimum of five days per week, including weekends.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
The Manager will encounter moderate to loud noise levels, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, and various hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
The work environment may experience temperature fluctuations, including extreme heat and cold based on external conditions.
The Automotive Retail Manager must be capable of meeting the following physical demands:Stand for up to eight hours daily and navigate various areas of the facility
Bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle, or manipulate objects frequently
Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to hear and speak clearly
Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and refocus
