Retail Operations Supervisor

Position Overview:

As a Retail Operations Supervisor, you will utilize your managerial expertise to mentor, develop, and support your team in achieving excellence in their roles while maintaining our high standards of quality. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will act as their trusted partner and oversee daily operations in their absence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide, mentor, and oversee Customer Service Team Members to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Evaluate financial transaction risks, process loan and pawn applications, and manage check cashing transactions and related services accurately.
• Foster customer relationships and execute inbound and outbound call campaigns to generate new business, enhance store profitability, and promote brand loyalty.
• Implement security measures and adhere to proper opening and closing procedures, including managing the vault and cash drawer.
• Supervise account management and recovery processes while prioritizing customer service to mitigate losses and charge-off accounts.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and local, state, and federal regulations by conducting store audits and compiling financial reports.
• Maintain the store's internal and external appearance, addressing basic facility needs and coordinating maintenance services.
• Assist in managing daily operations in the absence of the General Manager.
• Thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple tasks to meet performance standards.
• Commit to a full-time work schedule with regular, in-person attendance, including weekends.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of supervisory or relevant leadership experience.
• A minimum of one year in customer service, retail, or sales roles.
• Experience in cash management is essential.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using phones, Point of Sale systems, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A background check is required (subject to applicable law).
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in check cashing, document verification, and money order processing.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus and may be necessary for certain locations.
