Compensation:
$50,000 - $80,000 annually

The Automotive Retail Store Leader is accountable for the overall performance of the store, both financially and operationally, by establishing and maintaining customer service standards, overseeing operations, and ensuring maximum sales and profitability through effective expense management, human resource oversight, and control of operating costs and inventory loss.
Delta World Tire is recognized as one of the largest independent tire retailers in the region, boasting an extensive inventory of over 30,000 tires. Beyond tires, Delta World Tire provides comprehensive automotive repair and preventive maintenance services.

Our ASE certified technicians are ready to assist with a variety of services, including alignments, brake repairs, oil changes, battery replacements, shock and strut services, belt and hose replacements, and air conditioning repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
People Management

Sets clear expectations and communicates regularly with team members regarding job responsibilities, objectives, training, development, and overall customer service. Holds team members accountable for their roles through coaching and constructive feedback.

Ensures adherence to all company policies and procedures by conducting regular employee meetings and store audits.

In collaboration with HR, recruits, interviews, and hires new team members as needed.

Conducts performance evaluations for all staff at regular intervals.

Financial Oversight

Analyzes and assesses business trends; develops and implements strategies to maximize sales and achieve or surpass sales and profit targets as outlined in the Store Margin Statement.

Shares financial objectives and outcomes with all employees during store meetings.

Reviews invoices and daily reports to identify growth opportunities.

Maintains proper controls over the company’s physical and financial assets, following standard closing procedures including timely deposits of checks and cash.

Facility Management

Ensures the store is clean and well-maintained at all times.

Maintains exemplary housekeeping and merchandising standards to ensure customer comfort. Conducts regular inspections of equipment and requests maintenance as necessary.

Ensures that all purchased, but unused parts are returned promptly to vendors for credit.

Qualifications:
Two or more years of management experience or equivalent business experience in the automotive sector.

Previous experience in managing and mentoring team members to achieve success through effective communication.

Demonstrated ability to develop and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual performance goals for their individual store.

Proven history of consistently meeting and exceeding sales and profit objectives.

Prior experience as an Automotive Technician or in a similar role is preferred, but not mandatory.

Must possess a valid driver's license or obtain one within 30 days of hire.

Ability to work a minimum of five days, including weekends.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:


The Manager will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials.

The temperature in the work environment may vary and could include extreme heat and/or extreme cold depending on external conditions.

The Automotive Retail Store Leader must be able to meet the following physical requirements:

Stand for up to eight hours per day and walk to access various areas of the store.

Bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle, or manipulate objects frequently.

Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Ability to hear and speak clearly.

Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and focus as needed.
