Position Overview:


The role involves assisting in the provision and coordination of nursing care while managing resources to deliver optimal care for patients, their families, and the community, aiming to achieve, maintain, and restore peak health under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.

The position requires effective communication with the Registered Nurse and care team to support clinical planning and patient care.

Required Education:

  • Completion of a LPN nursing program from an accredited institution
  • Authorized by the State of Ohio Board of Nursing to perform intravenous therapy and administer medications as necessary for specific departments. Note: LPNs in wound care do not require IV certification, only medication administration.

Experience & Training:

  • Additional relevant experience or preparation may be necessary for specialized units. (Refer to applicable Addendum Specialty Job Descriptions)
  • A minimum of two years of relevant LPN experience is required for the LPN-Weekend Option
  • Per diem LPNs must possess at least one year of recent experience in the designated area of practice
  • Two years of relevant LPN experience is required for all weekend option and float roles


Skills, Competencies, and Qualifications:

  • Requires a full range of motion, including the ability to handle and lift patients, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Requires prolonged standing and walking
  • Requires corrected vision and hearing within normal ranges
  • Requires the ability to work under stressful conditions or irregular hours.


Additional Skills, Competencies, and Qualifications:

  • Requires exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, and other potentially hazardous conditions typical in a clinical setting, such as risks of falls and strains.
  • Must maintain current Basic Life Support certification
$23.51/hr - $28.21/hr
The salary range presented in this job posting is the base salary, exclusive of any bonuses or differentials.

Various factors, including years of relevant experience and geographical location, are considered when determining the starting pay rate.

We emphasize the importance of pay equity and take into account the internal equity of our current team members when making offers.

Please note that the listed range represents the full base salary range. Hiring at the upper end of the range is not typical.
