SVB Vice President I, Credit Solutions Expert

This is a high-profile position within the Credit Solutions group at SVB, where you will be responsible for leading the structuring, underwriting, and closing of credit solutions for assigned prospects and clients. As a key member of the team, you will engage with Relationship Management, clients/prospects, Credit Admin, Legal partners, and other internal/external stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the structuring, underwriting, and closing of credit solutions for assigned prospects and clients.
- Manage resources effectively and be responsible for doing this at increasing scale.
- Manage assigned portfolio of borrowing relationships, reviewing information, evaluating risk, and engaging with clients, building relationships with appropriate stakeholders.
- Communicate internally to recommend and execute on responses to changing situations for clients/across the portfolio broadly.
- Ensure that portfolio management practices meet SVB standards.
- Engage in team development, including collaboration and coaching of Associates who support the team.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience OR High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
- Strong financial modeling/analysis, memo writing, debt structuring, negotiation, and closing skills with the ability to engage and build trust with clients independently.
- Advanced knowledge of portfolio management practices including expertise in evaluating risk and managing changing situations.
