Complex Sales and Service Manager

Millennium Downtown New York is seeking a highly skilled Complex Sales and Service Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales and service team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating group business from booking to completion, ensuring profitable operations and high-quality products and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate group business, including rooming lists, deposits, payments, and invoices.
- Ensure inter-departmental coordination and communication to deliver exceptional service to clients.
- Generate and publish banquet event orders and manage turnovers.
- Know meeting room setups and capabilities, and sell meeting room space.
- Manage existing accounts and follow up with clients to capture future business.
- Be visible on the floor and assist staff as needed during functions.
- Participate in departmental and hotel training, and plan and execute holiday and special events.
- College coursework in a related field is helpful.
- Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Skilled in Windows, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Salary Range: $70,000-$75,000
