Job Summary

As a Sales Merchandiser Representative, you will play a critical role in driving sales and service excellence for Masco Coatings Products in the Pro Paint Channel accounts. This position involves extensive local travel (70%) and occasional overnight domestic travel. Your ability to work safely and foster a safe and inclusive work environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Product Excellence: Maintain product set integrity displays and/or POGs, ensuring they are full, clean, and orderly, including point-of-purchase materials.
  • Deliver Outstanding Service: Provide excellent customer service and swiftly resolve customer problems/complaints. Your ability to communicate and empathize will be key.
  • Educate and Train: Conduct engaging product features and benefits training sessions for store associates and customers on Masco Coatings brands and products.
  • Drive Sales: Suggest new product placements and replenishments to store managers and assist stores in getting orders placed.
  • Support Sales Events: Coordinate and support exciting sales events showcasing Masco Coatings products and services.
  • Report Market Insights: Share valuable market intelligence with the assigned Operations Manager, including new competitive products and price changes.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Sales, retail, or customer service experience is essential.
  • Experience with the independent Paint Channel is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel to multiple stores daily.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office Suits and related software applications.
