Job Summary

The Crafting Experience Coordinator supports the Party Host in organizing and managing DIY candle-making, body butter, and soap-making events. This role involves assisting with event setup, guiding guests through the creative process, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Setup and Preparation:
    • Assist in setting up the event space, including arranging materials, equipment, and supplies for DIY activities.
    • Ensure all materials are organized and ready for use, including candles, soap bases, essential oils, colorants, molds, and tools.
    • Set up workstations and ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
  • Guest Interaction and Assistance:
    • Welcome guests upon arrival and provide a brief overview of the DIY activities planned for the event.
    • Guide participants through the candle and soap-making processes, offering tips, instructions, and encouragement.
    • Address any questions or concerns from guests, ensuring they have all the resources and support they need.
    • Support the Party Host in managing the event schedule, including coordinating the timing of activities and breaks.
    • Assist with managing group activities, ensuring everyone is engaged and having a positive experience.
    • Handle any issues or challenges that arise during the event, and escalate to the Party Host if necessary.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service by being friendly, approachable, and attentive to guest needs.
    • Collect feedback from guests to help improve future events and provide insights to the Party Host or Event Coordinator.
Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    • Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, or customer service is preferred but not required.
    • Interest or experience in DIY crafts is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to explain crafting techniques clearly and enthusiastically.
    • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) is beneficial.
  • Attributes:
    • Creative and enthusiastic with a passion for crafting and hands-on activities.
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage various aspects of event execution.
    • Friendly and customer-focused with a positive attitude.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and move event supplies and equipment (up to 25 lbs).
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around the event space for extended periods.
