Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university and at least seven years of experience performing engineering-related duties.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing overall project coordination and engineering oversight on assigned substation projects. This will include specification development for the procurement, installation, and testing of substation equipment, as well as applying engineering application software to complete engineering tasks such as ground grid design, equipment sizing, relay coordination, and electrical studies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of engineering standards, including NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE, and ANSI. A Professional Engineer (PE) certification is also required.

The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate and coordinate project activities with project managers, customer representatives, and other stakeholders.

Location

The ideal candidate will be based out of one of our office locations in The Woodlands or Energy Corridor in Houston, TX, or Dallas-Fort Worth, TX.

Estimated Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$150,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate will be required to work efficiently and effectively, with regular, reliable attendance and the ability to work productively and meet deadlines timely. The candidate will also need to communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.
