About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Telephonic Triage Nurse Specialist to join our team at Amergis. As a key member of our healthcare services, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care through telephonic triage services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Telephonic Triage Services: Assess and evaluate patient needs, provide clinical and administrative advice, and follow established protocols to ensure quality care.
  • Nursing Assessment: Conduct thorough nursing assessments to identify patient symptoms and develop effective plans of care.
  • Health Education: Provide patients with accurate health information and education to empower them to make informed decisions about their health.
  • Documenting Patient Calls: Maintain accurate records of patient calls, adhering to HIPAA guidelines to ensure confidentiality.
  • Communication Skills: Develop strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, supervisors, and colleagues.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of practice.
  • Experience: One year of prior professional nursing experience preferred.
  • Compliance: Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice and company policies.
  • Certifications: CPR certification, TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray, and current Health certificate as required by contract or regulation.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
