About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Triage Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for triaging incoming and outgoing customer service programs, assessing caller needs and symptoms, and providing clinical and administrative advice. You will follow established protocols to assist callers and ensure timely resolution of their concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing assessments of caller presenting symptoms
  • Develop and implement personalized plans of care for each caller
  • Apply the nursing process to identify and prioritize healthcare triage interventions
  • Document call inquiries according to policies and procedures
  • Interact with callers and staff in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A current Registered Nurse license for the state of practice
  • One year of prior professional nursing experience (preferably)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
  • Computer proficiency and strong organizational skills
