Position Overview:

In this role, you will operate under general oversight to conduct construction evaluations ranging from basic to advanced complexity. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing the integrity of structures.
  • Documenting signs of wear, structural health, and necessary sampling.
  • Recording discrepancies between the planned design and actual construction execution.

Upon identifying any construction-related issues or deficiencies, you will prepare detailed reports for project leadership to ensure timely resolution.

Minimum Qualifications:

A high school diploma or a vocational technical degree is required, along with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. Travel may be necessary, depending on the specific duties and project requirements. Additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Skills and Abilities:

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Intermediate proficiency in arithmetic and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and software applications.
  • Advanced understanding of construction materials, methods, and equipment.
  • Capability to interpret and explain construction plans, contracts, and specifications.

Compensation:

The pay range for this position is between $32.46 and $50.31 per hour, based on experience and geographic location.

Work Location:

This position requires 100% fieldwork.
