About the Role

TRC Companies, a leading global consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Construction Inspector to join our team working on a NYSDOT Interstate highway paving project in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform field inspections to ensure compliance with contract documents.
  • Conduct field material tests as necessary.
  • Take field measurements, collect data, and prepare documentation in SiteManager.
Requirements
  • Must have bridge and highway construction experience with NYSDOT.
  • NICET Level II or equivalent is required.
  • Familiarity with NYSDOT MURK documentation and SiteManager is essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required.
  • Night Shift, overtime, and weekend work availability are necessary.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.
