Job Overview

The Guest Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the front office operations and ensuring a seamless experience for all guests. This role involves coordinating activities to maximize room occupancy, revenue generation, and guest satisfaction. The Supervisor will lead the front office team to uphold exceptional service standards while maintaining operational accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train, and manage front office personnel, including front desk agents, supervisors, and concierge staff.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of front office staff and be prepared to assist in various capacities as needed.
  • Handle guest concerns with a focus on resolution, utilizing investigative skills and creative problem-solving to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Effectively operate the front office management system, ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest room needs and service requests.
  • Support the General Manager with special projects, group reservations, and unique guest circumstances.
  • Optimize occupancy rates through strategic yield management practices.
  • Welcome guests with professionalism, ensuring efficient check-in and check-out processes.
  • Manage cash transactions with precision, including processing payments and providing accurate change.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of bending, stooping, and stretching to meet cleaning and maintenance needs.
  • Lift and transport equipment or supplies weighing up to fifty (50) pounds safely.
  • Push and pull carts weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with guests and staff.
  • Demonstrate physical capabilities such as grasping, writing, and listening.
  • Administer first aid when necessary and lead evacuations in emergencies.
